Review on Sony DCR-TRV280 Digital8 Handycam Camcorder: Discontinued by Manufacturer, 20x Optical Zoom - Find Now! by Michael Foster

Considering I haven't used it much it seems very good - good picture quality especially in low light. I like the large screen, but I find the on/off slide button ergonomically placed a bit inconveniently. It's heavier than I expected and since I have small hands it's a little clunky at times. I only downloaded once to my computer, and while everything went fairly smoothly (though not as "transparent" as I would have liked), playback was stuttering. That's one of the reasons I didn't use it often. I guess you could say I'm too worried right now to figure out why. I have no doubt that there is a simple solution. For the price this is a good camera but if you want something light and portable I would recommend looking elsewhere.
