Nothing special about this tie, in my opinion. My daughter needed a red tie for a program at school and this fits her perfectly. I wouldn't like it for everyday use (too short for me) but for a skinny, normal sized person a good length would be fine, but I didn't really like the material. I love my silk ties. If you need a tie for a special occasion or school event be sure to get one, for everyday office wear I would look elsewhere. Delivery was fast, arrived a day earlier than it should have.
