I have a big bump on my left foot. Because of this, sometimes I have to go half a size up from my usual 7, but not for this one. 7 fits perfectly. These boots have a nice wide toe box that gives enough room for my sore feet. I was able to remove the soles (although they are taped at the heel and arch) so I could put in my own Vionic lambswool insoles. They fit perfectly. And I can still wear my thick wool socks without burning my feet. The warm panels I added along with room for my oversized wool socks make these boots ideal for Minnesota winters. They are durable, well made and look great. Laces allow you to adjust to the exact size of the foot and ankle. I like the zippers on both sides. My feet can go in and my socks don't stick together. Enough heel to give me some height but no discomfort. The leather is soft in the ankle area so that the legs do not dig in. I will wear every day from autumn to spring! And in the summer to concerts on First Avenue. I haven't ridden a motorcycle in a long time, but I have no doubts that they will be great for that too. Especially for a little girl on a tall bike. A small paragraph is helpful. The toe box isn't too big to fit under the shifter (although they can get a little scratchy). Before them, I had Harley boots that withstood heavy use for over ten years. I hope these last as long. I've been wearing them every day for a few weeks now and so far so good!
