I have fine fine medium length hair and these are the only rollers that I'm really comfortable sleeping in and they make my hair look beautiful . I've gotten so many compliments since I started using these instead of hot curlers that were damaging my hair. I start at the base of the hair and wrap it around the rollers so the end result is not tiny tight curls but more of a ring that you can smooth out with your fingers. Don't use a brush to brush your curls or they might look frizzy, just use your fingers. I have bought foam rollers and even the expensive ones advertised on a popular TV show but these are the only rollers I can sleep in and have a good night's rest.
