Review on Breville BMO850BSS1BUC1 Countertop Microwave Stainless by Hector Smith

Ordered this microwave based on reviews. This is a high price for what you get. The first came at the end of February 2021. Immediately there was a problem with the closer. When using it daily for the first time, it was very difficult to close the door latch. You will hear a pop and then it will work. The subsequent closing of the doors worked as it should with a light push and the soft-close mechanism took over. The next day the same problem occurs. I have ordered a replacement. The replacement arrived on March 10th. Same problem with exchange. Breville tech support was absolutely unhelpful. There are a lot of locks. Door latch issue aside, the control knobs are as cheap as it gets. They feel like a dime, making precise adjustments difficult. Breville may have built a solid reputation for higher quality merchandise, but has since relied on its name to sell crap.
