Edited review. In my original review below, I was extremely dissatisfied with the product. I originally wanted to return the money but after I was able to wash off the dirt/dust I decided to keep it for myself. I went to the local hardware store and bought new metal washers and such to fix the rusty parts. I upgraded to 2 stars. Revain was kind enough to give me a $5 credit to offset the parts I had to purchase. The rod works as expected, but it is still unacceptable to ship parts with rusty and dusty parts. First Review: I was so excited to get some new perches for my kids! I have an Indian ringneck and a green cheeked kennel. I spent the money to buy them new toys, ladders, and perches, including this one. It was full of dust and had rusty metal parts. This is completely unacceptable and unsanitary for any pet. Do not buy.
