I've been looking for a specific size basket for our hallway shelves for months. They were as deep and tall as I was looking for, with a simple, modern look and a rope that I preferred so it wouldn't scratch the shelves. The price was very competitive and often cheaper than other containers I've looked for at local retailers. We currently have our gloves, mittens, scarves, etc. as well as other random items that family members often need to run out the door. If they aren't full, they won't stand up. That's to be expected and doesn't bother me, but if you want a structured view, you don't have it. The bins are fairly strong, very light so they can be easily grabbed off the top shelves and perfect for our needs.
