Duct tape isn't for art.
Well it's the right size and the glue is fine. The weak point is that the tape is too thin and when I put wet paint on it it warps a little, it should be waxy. back to reflect the wet paint. The only thing I want is a clean sharp edge. While this tape is good for home painting, it does not meet the needs of artists.
