Cute concept, quality could be better

This potion-making set is pretty magical, consisting of a handful of tiny, plastic bottles in a few different shapes, a decent variety of fun supplies/ingredients, a ‘recipe book’/instruction booklet, and the box that it all comes in — which doubles as a storage cabinet. It comes with enough supplies for at least ten potions, with maybe seven recipes that have instructions. Half of the ingredients are bottles are glitter and food coloring…the rest are fairly simple craft items. It’s a really nice concept, but I think the quality could have been a bit better, especially with the ingredients and how they mix. Most of the potions’ ingredients don’t dissolve properly or settle quickly, resulting in a somewhat disappointing bottle of decorative water. But considering it’s designed for children, it’s acceptable, especially for the price. With how much you get to work with and how much potential time can be enjoyed on it, it’s a pretty good value for money. It would make a fun gift to those who are fascinated by magic and fantasy, possibly even cooking.
