This review is about a 16-compartment Gearbox shoe box under the bed. I don't know what it's good for, but not for storing shoes. Maybe for light and small women's shoes, but not for men's shoes in size 11+. Each slot contains one shoe, so you can get a maximum of 7 pairs. And it's very tight. And any shoes, like hiking boots with higher sides, won't fit at all due to the 5-inch depth of the bin. In addition, it is very bulky and difficult to handle. There are no handles and it really doesn't slide under the bed easily. . In fact, it barely fits under mine at 6 inches from the floor to the frame. It's very thin. I think it could be good for sweater storage as the dividers are made of brittle plastic that can be flattened to the bottom. I'll either throw it away or see if anyone I know needs it for something. I should probably return it but I don't want to bother because it's still cheap.
