Review on EPOS SENNHEISER Adapt 660 1000200 by Nicholas Peters

First off let me say I've been a long time Jabra customer but I've heard so many great thoughts about the EPOS 660 from youtube videos and wanted to hear the business case so I felt like I had to try They were also very reasonably priced compared to the Jabra Evolve2 85, which is my closest competitor. Let me start with the good: great sound, good range, good fit and finish, good tech support. I thought I would be happy with the product. Reality (maybe I'm just spoiled) I use it for business, so mute and unmute is VERY important. Muting is done with a touch gesture, and sometimes it worked. I'm also used to voice prompts from my old Jabra which are either unavailable or not working on my pair. You only get one beep (and presumably another beep when you mute and another when you unmute, but I couldn't tell the difference). I turn on my headset in the morning when I get to work and leave it on all day as I go from meeting to meeting. Well after 15 minutes without my ear they fall asleep and need to be woken up. This prompted a mixed reaction to the quick call as it takes time to connect. I figured all of these differences could be fixed with their software. I tried both their Windows software and their iOS software. These items are not configurable. Again, I might just be spoiled, as the Jabra software allows these elements to be changed through the software. I buy Jabras. They aren't perfect either, but they have solutions to my (2) complaints above. I hope this information helps other business people.
