This is advertised as a tortilla press. I don't need a tortilla press. All the tortillas I buy at the store are VERY flat and barely rise. Maybe they do it somewhere else, but not with me. I got this to make tamales! And it shredded the tamale wrappers perfectly! It has an infinitely adjustable pressure system (manual strength required) and good all-round measurement. It's easier than I thought. I probably wouldn't try to crush something really big in this one. Bones - yes (little ones, fingers, toes, teeth, MAYBE the ulna - but definitely NOT the femur). Walnut? Maybe if you can leave them inside. Peanut? Yes. Marble? Yes. If you can get it hot enough, like REALLY, REALLY hot, you still can't apply enough pressure to create diamonds. Maybe CZ. Although, probably not.
