Review on Kinky Curly Today Clean Shampoo by Katherine Hernandez

I've been doing the "Curly Girl Method" for a few months, so I have few expectations of everything. But I could stick with this find for a while (which is saying a lot). For reference, I have 2a-2c mixed wavy hair. Yes, it's really curly in some places and almost straight in others, and honestly I'm having to come to terms with that over time. It tends to tangle and lie flat, limp and lifeless. The shampoo is good. Yes, it dries out if overused. But it washes all the gel out of my hair (I use it a lot!). I don't shampoo every day so drying isn't a problem. The air conditioning is a real winner. Really soft and slippery. I think these two products complement each other well. Also worth noting: none of them have strong tastes. I still need to do deep conditioning from time to time, but I always will. I noticed changes within a week. The hair is softer. Curls are more even and clear. And because it's light (when used as a regular conditioner), it actually has more "bounce". I personally find it expensive, but since it's very hard to find something that works for me, I'll use it until I find something better. Wavy heads will probably love this. I cannot speak for others. Because haircare is so specific, I'll leave the products I use in conjunction with this one here for reference: EVOLVh Mixed Chick Styling Gel, Leave-in Spray, Sometimes Design Essentials Curl Enhancing Mousse Shea Yucca, and Once a Month a psyllium mask over that.
