This beach cabana is exactly what I was hoping it would be. It is large enough to sit two people side by side with elbow room between them. And it is deep enough to allow us to be fully shaded and hold a cooler and necessities. You might even get 4 people in it if you really wanted to. We plan to take it to the beach, but have set it up in the living room to test it out. I highly recommend learning how to set it up before you get to the beach. There was a small learning curve, but now I can put it up and take it down by myself. I can't imagine another tent being easier to set up and take down. When folded up and put in its carrying case it resembles a collapsible yard chair that I would take to a picnic in a bag with a strap. I like the fact that there are no pieces to put together and it is a one unit right out of the bag.
