Just don't stick to the dashboard and clean it. I also have an iPhone Pro Max so it was definitely too heavy for this product. The weight plus driving and hopping was just too much and I'm glad I was there with quick reflexes to catch it before it hit my shift face. If your phone is smaller and fits on a smoother surface, this might work better, but most cars aren't built that way anymore. I have an impala. I can also say that the magnet was strong! Just not strong enough glue to stick to the dashboard.
