I bought this on a whim. I wanted to create a "16" decoration for my child's birthday. I wasn't sure if it would work for "6" but as you can see in the photo I was able to get it to work. The stands aren't particularly strong/sturdy so I had to lean 6 against the wall. just a little so as not to fall off. When I assembled them I was afraid of breaking them, so I didn't put them in the connectors. I didn't try pouring water into the base, that might have helped, but it's not my house so I didn't. I don't want to be held responsible if the base loses water. There are stakes that can be placed outside but due to the weather we had to leave them inside. Balloon rings worked great for #1 but not #6 so I had to hand tie and use string to make #6. The rings make the balloons look looser than hand tying and using string, but I appreciate the convenience of using them. For a column of balloons, they would be perfect! I am glad that I bought this product.
