Thanks to enthusiasts who strive for innovation and variety, you can finally find a keyboard that fits you like a glove. For me it is: Keychron K1. This is the first keyboard I've come across that has all (my) needs for a writing tablet: Bluetooth, flat blue switches, TKL, backlight (white for me) and a solid aluminum body. This thing is awesome - it reminds me of the Apple IIc keyboard (orange ALPS) that I loved as a kid. I've played multiple mechanical keyboards, switch types, and even with dampers, but I've found time and time again that my accuracy has suffered and they tire - probably because I've switched to chiclet boards such as my Surface or Logi Solar over the course of the workday . When low profile mechanical switches appeared I suspected they would solve my problem and indeed when I found the K1 I got exactly what I wanted. The K1 was well packaged, shipped quickly and had no issues other than one of the included replacement alt keycaps with a curved post (I just left the cap on the right). If you're looking for your perfect board, look down the keyboard enthusiast's rabbit hole until you figure out exactly what you really want, and then check out Keychron, because they're probably waiting for you.
