. Beautifully painted but I noticed the tone of the wood is slightly different on the hour and minute hands. Some may like it, some may not. The first day my watch was completely silent BUT THE NEXT DAY it immediately started making noise. Some reviewers said the noise was very loud, but it's not. The noise itself is at the "background" level (the volume is similar to a clock ticking). However, I find it incredibly annoying because it sounds like a continuous, slow ratchet. In a very quiet room, this can be very distracting. But if you put it in a slightly noisier room like the living room, that's not a problem. Please note that if your living room is quiet the noise can still be heard and may disturb someone - I could tolerate it. How can/do you want to endure this rattling noise.
