So I had a thick fabric hanging. It was gathering dust and looking bad. But getting a few yards from a fabric store and using it in the 3rd layer was a cheap option. Well the 3rd shift is over and we still don't like the sun. Have 1 roll of this. applied to a window with a width of 34.6 x 48 or something like that. 1 roll was enough. We used it wrong, it was our fault. But it still seems ok. For the next two rolls I have to order, we'll do better. My advice: get a box opener or utility knife with a NEW cutting blade, use window cleaner, and be sure to balance the air with a credit card or folder. Overall, no dusty cloth is required, blocks light, and doesn't look like a garbage bag. I will also be ordering a decorative privacy pad for our kitchen.
