Review on Apache SensSoft by Zach Sornsin

I like that Senssoft allows you to set up rules in advance or at runtime (during events) to allow for dynamic modification or analysis. This means less manual work later on when it comes time to analyze events. As with any software solution there are things about the product you may not like, but this is likely outweighed by how well this solves problems you've been trying to solve. It's helped us quickly see what our users were doing before and after an implementation. We use it for analytics on various projects we run. It's very easy to use by anyone with basic knowledge about SQL queries (even without any experience). The interface can be improved but it doesn't take much time if you have some programming skills in your team or at least know how things work under Linux/Unix OSes. We are using this software mainly as an analytics tool so we just need something simple enough which works well out-of box even when there aren;t many users visiting our website yet!
