I bought the body and 2 filters in 2018 to add to my shower to keep the shower head from getting clogged with mineral deposits and it not only helped the shower head but it helped me too! I have eczema and in winter it gets worse, even water burns the skin. My skin, especially on my arms, tends to crack and bleed, and my scalp burns. Although I have medication and use Eucerin, showering in winter can be painful. This filter doesn't burn my skin and definitely softens the water. It also makes my hair soft and I don't need a lot of shampoo or conditioner. I have hard water and change these filters every 6 months to keep them working properly.
