Review on 🎧 Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro Open Back Headphones (250 Ohms) with Knox Gear Large Hard Shell Headphone Case Bundle (2 Items) by Robert Jackson

Was looking for a pair of open-back headphones for video editing and audio mixing (mainly for work) and bought them after months of debating whether to get an 80 ohm should or 250 ohm model and settled on 250 ohm models (I did a little research and it turned out that my M Audio Air interface couldn't deliver enough power to drive them the way I want them to hoped for, so I ordered a separate amp + DAC, which will soon be driving them). I AM SO HAPPY I MADE IT! I have a few different in-ear headphones (V-Moda, OneOdio, Apple) and I have to say these Beyerdynamics are quickly becoming my favourites. They are so light and comfortable that I have to remember to wear them (because of that fixed cable connection) and my experience with open-backed headphones is growing. I have read and seen many reviews discussing that the sound quality they came from was "harsh" but I can tell you that despite the temporary lack of power driving these benches, the power I out of my interface, great was far with them! I can't wait to see how much better the experience will be when I hook it up to my DAC + amp stack. Things I haven't heard in my other headphones. I know they aren't the most expensive you can buy and for some of your more experienced hi-fi ears they might not be quite right for you. I appreciate your experience and wish I had it. That sounds amazing to me. They may come as a surprise to some of you considering them. I hope to update this review soon, so stay tuned!
