Current is not high enough to charge scanner
This charger does not work with advertised scanners. Under load, i.e. with the scanner connected, it cannot deliver the specified current. It turns on the green light for the base station, but when the scanner is placed in the base station to charge, it can only work for a few seconds before turning off and on again. I came back and bought a charger with the same specs only 2A instead of 1A and it works perfectly. When looking for a power source for these devices, be sure to check the polarity as most adapters have it reversed (this adapter had the correct polarity, the current is too low).
