Great idea that works as intended. However, balloons can be problematic.

My first balloon burst in the bottle overnight. I don't know if it was because I overinflated or because the balloon just broke. The second balloon had a pin-sized hole and would not inflate. The third seems to be working well so far (second day). All in all this is a really good, simple solution to the problem, much cheaper and more elegant than trying to evacuate air or fill the room with CO2 or an inert gas. But it seems the balloons could be a bit stronger.
