No more steps and jumps in my videos!

This unit will look very familiar to you if you have seen or used Glidecam products. I couldn't justify paying over $500 for one of these devices and was very happy to see it at Revain. It is very similar to the Glidecam HD-2000 but is about 1/3 the price which is great for a hobbyist like me. In use this device is phenomenal and allows me to take pictures that look like they were taken at a racetrack. installed sled or drone. No more steps or bouncing videos! :). Setting up and balancing my camera on the rig was easy, but note that while this gimbal doesn't come with any instructions at all, there are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to set up glidecams/gimbals and how to use them effectively. It took me about 20 minutes from unboxing to full setup. While the gimbal doesn't feel heavy (mine weighed 4 pounds without the camera), if you have a full-frame camera with a quality zoom lens (like my 24-inch 70mm lens), it's going to be a heavy beast. My advice on how to hold this comfortably for long periods of time would be to keep the grip completely perpendicular to the ground and keep your elbow on your waist/abdomen when shooting (instead of keeping your entire right arm in front of you). . with outstretched arms). Then the only tricky part is using the other hand to manipulate the setup so the camera is pointed at the scene. All in all, a VERY good upgrade to make your moving videos very smooth without the hassle (and expensive) hardware. The best thing is that the price suits me since I only make videos as a hobby.
