There may be similar products that are easier for the average home user to set up, but you can't beat the price. It took me a while to figure out the right configuration for my personal application, but once that was done I'm very happy with the performance. Centrally managed access points are much easier than keeping track of IP addresses and separate settings for multiple. Manufacturer and multiple device models/versions. With the CAPsMAN feature, you can use your router or one of these CAPs assigned as a manager to deploy your entire deployment, be it a few access points or a hundred. There are some good videos on YT that are helpful as well. like the MikroTik online forum. The entire product line can be configured via a graphical user interface or a command line. I only used the GUI. Range and speed are fantastic! You can adjust the radio's output power to find the sweet spot that gives you full coverage without unnecessary RF blast (more power isn't necessarily better!).
