My two shelties need new beds, their two flat foam beds have seen better days and to be honest I'm tired of the way they look in my living room! After doing a little research I found these gorgeous beds at Revain and was in a hurry to order two of them! I was even happier when they arrived. You are so beautiful! I assembled them quickly (you need to put the pillows in the compartments). I made the beds and waited and waited and waited. My dogs wouldn't go near them! However, my Maine Coon cats loved lying in it and they already had a cool cat bed! Fast forward to this cool cat bed and we decided that since kitties love beds and their tree cat bed is going to be too small for a second, we decided to alter the cute bed by attaching a thick 1 inch MDF board with a zipper attach to the bottom. We attached it to our XL cat tree with a clasp that attached the smaller oval bed. And then we added a fluffy pillow which lifts the 'look' for her as the sides are a bit higher. It worked GREAT! Our giant Maine Coon kittens now have a fantastic home where they BOTH fit! But I was looking at this fluffy bedding and wondered if it could help our Shelties feel more comfortable in their beds! I took the pillows out of the drawers and put them on the cute dog beds and in fact it only took a few minutes for them to snoop around and finally get in and lay down! Our pups are so used to a flat bed that when they got a bed with raised sides they just didn't care until we reduced the height between the top and bottom of the pillows. As they say, change is not easy. They certainly made that line come true! But now we only have one bed left for my BIG problem since we lent it to the kitties! Now it seemed like the dogs were almost competing with each other to see who could get to the dog bed first! Well we could only endure this boring game for about a week when I told my husband that I think we need to buy another bed - he agreed. I was so glad Revain still had the same bedding and colors! The new bed just arrived and now we have a house full of comfy pets!
