Review on 🔋 High-Performance 18V Ryobi Adhesive Charger Battery by Kevin Carr

The Ryobi 18V/Lithium Cordless Caulking Gun should be one of the caulking tools used by hobbyists and professionals alike. We used a rechargeable gun to apply interior glue to 4 buildings (500ft x 50ft) to fill in the gaps between the cinder block and the luan to prevent airflow while the large industrial fans were running and building up static pressure. This caulking gun has a bead selection from narrow to wide (depending on what angle and where you cut the tip of the tube). We were initially disappointed because this gun only holds 11.5-12.2 tubes of glue. But what we've learned from others who use larger-barreled pistols is that the larger barrels make the gun weigh about 2 pounds more. I am a female and used 15 barrels in 3.5 hours, I had no problem with the weight of the gun with a 12oz barrel. I would advise you to have a strong metal rod to poke through the inner seal as there isn't one attached to the gun like on manual caulking guns and if you try to apply pressure you can push through the back of the glue hose. The gun held good performance for about 4 hours. I bought two guns and two extra batteries to keep them charged. I washed the gun with soap and water, ammonia to keep the glue from drying out and clogging (especially at the base). Easy construction. In addition, the same Ryobi lithium batteries can be used in other Ryobi hand tools with similar power. I would highly recommend this rechargeable caulking gun and will purchase other Ryobi hand tools that use an 18v lithium battery.
