Ideal for dual monitors (1024x768) with inexpensive DP-HDMI cables

I bought this to replace the nVidia GeForce card I am using for used dual monitors. This card had an HDMI, a DVI and a VGA. The HDMI worked great, but the DVI monitor would sometimes turn on and off and blue lines flickered on the screen most of the time. I've heard that DVI and VGA are comparable in that they are powered by a computer or something. I wanted a card with two HDMI ports and that's how I came across this card. When I bought this I thought it was two HMDIs. Realizing it was dual displayports, I bought two inexpensive DP to HDMI cables. (These are single ended cables from the card to the monitors.) I installed the card, connected new cables and set it up. I'm not a gamer - I just love working with dual displays - and I love this new card. Excellent display (1024 x 768). Clean, no flicker, no noticeable lines. I wish I could buy this card first. It doesn't need anything better.
