My favorite Ray-Ban sunglasses have gold wire frames, but the super tough plastic nose pads make them almost unwearable. They dig into my nose so hard that after a few minutes it hurts and leaves DEEP red marks. They're very comfortable and not very noticeable unless you're looking directly at the nose pad.
