Review on 📱 Coby Kyros MID8125-4G: 8-Inch Android Tablet with Internet Touchscreen - Features 4 GB Storage by James Morrow

When I was looking for a tablet, I was mainly looking for a cheap e-reader. Well, on a whim I checked out the Coby Kyros and saw that not only would it work for my purposes as an e-reader, but it would also play NetFlix, surf the web wirelessly, and of course do everything Android tablets do. The 8-inch tablet cost $169, and I felt the tablet was worth the risk. I waited a full ten days to get my new "toy” in the mail. It finally arrived but I had to be at work in 30 minutes which meant I had to wait another 8 hours before I could play with it. At midnight my shift ended and I came home to try out my new device. Within 48 hours I was blown away by how perfect the machine was and I was beginning to worry that there was nothing more to enjoy in owning a tablet. Of course, some time has passed, which makes me more objective in my purchase. First, the touchscreen can be tricky at times. I had a hard time learning how to scroll without plugging a wireless mouse into a USB adapter (thankfully included). The rest of the tablet works great. Netflix has no issues with streaming, but the app isn't included. In fact, the worst thing about a tablet is that apps are hard to find. There are many free downloads of great apps in the Android Market, but the tablet is not supported because it is not a phone! I've tried everything but Android Market won't let me download an app. The tablet comes with an app that allows you to download some apps, but many good apps are locked to the Market. I had to search through free apps on download sites like Megaupload and Rapidshare. Apps are the second biggest problem and it seems to be the last at the moment. Indeed, applications are the solution to all other problems that may arise. If you want to try something, just find an app for it.
