I was looking forward to a scanner that could do more than just basic OBDII. I received the scanner quickly. As a first step, I registered it and updated the software. The first WOW here lasted over 4 hours! Finally finished the updates and tried to scan my machines. The company claims to support cars until 2019, but quickly found that one of my cars the scanner couldn't even identify (proper manual or automatic VIN recognition) and gave an invalid VIN error message. Apparently 2018 Land Rover Velar models are not supported and cannot be scanned. The second machine is slightly better, but I doubt the accuracy of the scan. The scanner recognizes the VIN number of my 2018 Jaguar Ftype R but the next drop down menu to select year of manufacture only goes to 2017. I have contacted Foxwell and am waiting to see if they have a solution to my problems. If not, I'll return the scanner and find one that actually scans my cars. Item returned as this scanner does not work at all on my 2018 R dynamic Land Rover Velar 2.0L Turbo.
