The bracket is thick and strong with a nut cutout at the bottom to allow it to sit flush. The bearings are good. I have a question, what is self-adhesive felt for? Lay around the role? Three recommendations, since the pulley is only 3/4" tall I recommend 2" bolts with a nylock nut. Then you can lift the roller higher and drill four holes in the bracket for wall mounting. Because if you need to install in a corner like mine, a hole will fit the drywall, so I used 1 screw and 3M tape for the bottom. My door is 1 inch off the floor due to the laundry and dryer pulling air. It's also large, 87 x 48 inches, with a double laundry door and a bedroom door.
