These cables offer the high performance you expect from them. I tested them with my original Seagate GoFlex and 197Mbps cables. Both cables had basically the same specs as you can see in the pictures. These cables are made of a soft material that bends easily; not rigid which made it difficult for my other aftermarket cables to position external USB drives I was using. The original cable that came with my GoFlex was only 1Mbps faster, which means these CableCreation cables will not slow down my external hard drive's performance. This is very important when transferring large amounts of data at the highest possible speed. I am very happy with these cables and can't wait to use them once I find them. My little ones probably mixed them up with their toys. :-)
