It adjusts easily, can be removed without issue. The webbing isn't too thin or stiff, & with a robust 'D' buckle can be used as a means of carrying weight in an emergency situation. I have added gear to it at work & found it can handle it without fuss.The 1 3/4 inch size is perfect for most duty pants with 2 inch loops, though too large for most jeans. I'm pretty sure this will outlast any leather belt out there, without distorting or creasing.
