Exceeded expectations

Disclaimer: I'm not a hardcore gamer. I'm a creative guy who needs a lot of viewing space. Coding with a single 23" monitor, on the other hand, was an amateur lesson. That's a breath of fresh air. Get ready to change your workflow and adapt to such a massive viewing space. According to other reviews, I also have a tall desk mount for mine Bought a 23" monitor and mounted it directly above to share the regular resolution screen. Didn't realize I'd need a second display at the top, but it's handy for media playback without interfering with key work areas. A monitor alongside this ultrawide would be too far off to be useful! As another reviewer said, "Just buy it." It's a hefty purchase, but for the time you'll be spending behind your work display, it should shouldn't be truly amazing? Treat yourself... you deserve it... you won't be disappointed. Note: be careful when you au s of the packaging. The instructions specifically say not to pinch the screen. It's so big that it can be difficult to just hold it by the edges (it's very heavy, hence the problem). Additional note: Get the maximum resolution from a 2017 MacBook Pro. But the 2014 model doesn't give me the maximum resolution via the HDMI port or the mini display port. Note for older Apple users. I'm trading in my old car for a Mini so it's no big deal but do a little research if you only have Mini displayports. I might need a better cable too, although HDMI says it's good up to 8K. I'm not hampering my review here as this monitor is up to date and I wouldn't expect my 2014 laptop to perform at its best. Will update this review with questions and additional experiences.
