Pleasant maximally concise design, no light bulbs and unnecessary details. It is especially cool (it was important to me) that the gamepads are not upside down on it, like their Chinese counterparts. The station is smart. If the gamepad is not heavily discharged (roughly speaking, until the first division disappears, if you look at the charge level from the PS4), then even when installed on the station, it will not charge it so as not to force the battery with unnecessary charge cycles. It is very convenient that the gamepads have a special connector for the station, it is larger than a standard micro-USB and there are no latches and hooks - the gamepad literally lies on the contacts with its mass, and then it is quietly removed, without effort and risk of breaking / loosening something . Got cons: I'll take off one point for the design of the connection between the gamepad and the station. The connector and plug itself are of high quality and reliable. But it’s VERY difficult to put a gamepad on charge blindly. You need to set it very precisely, otherwise it just won’t “stick in” and you’ll fiddle with the gamepad, blindly feeling for the right place and scratching the gamepad with the plug of the station. What prevented me from making a small tapering cone for the plug in the gamepad or making a notch in the charging station so that the gamepad had no way to miss is a mystery to me. As for the price, I can only say that It`s a Sony. The original stand in the form of a piece of transparent plastic with a screw costs from 1500, what can I say about this product, where there are wires and electronics)) But by the way, I still haven’t found a better charging station for myself.
