This product came very quickly and fits 14mm pipes NOT 12mm. Very easy to install if you have the right housing or if you install the tank before putting it in. Small cases can be a bit difficult to fit, but overall it screws in like butter once aligned. The material is a nice and heavy metal. I would choose metal over plastic right angles for durability. I don't know what heat means, but metal keeps the coolant cold in the facility without fear of leaks. When you install the tube properly you will feel a slight click to let you know it is fully seated.
