Does everything advertised and what I need but loses points because the tray is so small. I wanted to use it as a mouse pad and from the photos I got the impression it would be big enough. Instead, you can mount an Arc Mouse there and move it forward about a quarter of an inch before falling into the ditch. It would be nice to see an option with a large tray. Besides a larger tray if there was a way to fold it flat enough to fit in a backpack it would 100% meet my needs and be a five star product. However, note that portability is not perfect and if you want to use this compartment for your mouse, your mouse must be quite small. If you plan on leaving it in the car in an emergency and have a smaller travel mouse (or don't need to use a mouse), this thing is definitely optimal. Lots of placement options to let you customize where and at what angle you want the laptop (you only have to play around with it for a minute before you get it) and once it's "installed" it's definitely going nowhere there. It would be nice if they included some simple instructions in the box, but it's easy enough to get around.
