I really wanted to love this scale. I love that it's extra wide, love that it beeps when it locks onto your weight, those are small things but great features. For lighter folks (like half capacity or less) this worked GREAT! Each time it zeroed the weight and beeped for 2 seconds. I weigh > 100 lbs LESS than the scale's weight capacity of 550 lbs. POSSIBLY one in 30 times when I step on the scale it registers my weight and beeps. On other occasions it shut down after a few seconds and failed to adjust to my weight (continued to oscillate until shut down). I was as still as I could, trying to put my feet in different ways but nothing worked. I really didn't want to send it back.
