I've used a lot of different mouse over the years, including several that were designed specifically for laptops, and this one has to be one of the most awkward to work with. Without initially trying it, I "blindly" purchased this mouse. You should only use the mouse on rare occasions. I'll have to go out and get something more suited. Benefits include: Good sensor performance, low cost, portability (fits in laptop bag), and single-battery operation. the negatives: The biggest problem is that the mouse is awkwardly shaped and cannot be used properly with a medium-sized hand since it is too little, too low, and too narrow. Since it is ineffective to rest the thumb, ring finger, or little finger on the mouse itself, the pads of those fingers constantly scrape against the surface on which the mouse rests, making for a painful experience. Working for extended periods of time with a mouse is impossible. Angry clicking of the keyboard. It's not a rubber scroll.
