The product itself is fairly flimsy and not well constructed. But beyond that, I think I may also be missing the whole idea of a bunkie board. There is no depth to this at all, and with a 12 inch mattress and a 8 inch high bedframe, it feels like we’re sleeping on the floor. Our comforter now lays on the ground, and you can’t sit on the bed unless you put your legs out in front of you because it’s so low to the ground. Our air mattress for camping is significantly higher than this. We’re returning this and going back to a box spring.
