I love this product. I wouldn't call it a marker, it more closely resembles the consistency and texture of an oil pastel marker. That being said I'm really tired of using liquid markers which smudge my boards quite a bit and leave a faint shadow of what I've written even after erasing. These boards do NOT contaminate! They are fully washable without leaving any marks, especially if you use a damp cloth. You won't be able to get an accurate or ultra-consistent fine line unless you manipulate the chalk as you use it, but for use, erasure, and reuse, this is the best option out there in my opinion Market. Save liquid markers for more permanent projects. They are ideal for everyday use! This is unlike anything else on the market.
