I like the retro style and the color. I like that the lid also serves as a measuring cup. Maybe I'm misunderstanding this, but the instructions give the impression that when you plug it in and turn it on, the ready light turns green or turns green. Never done. The start light is green when it is on. There is also a terrible smell when it works for 3 minutes. Hopefully it goes away with more use. I've always microwaved buttered popcorn in a paper bag. But with this product, you can't use anything internally, and the popcorn tastes stale. no taste. I even put salt in the butter. So I guess I'll have to drown the popcorn in oil and spices. and I tried to eat healthy popcorn :/
