Cable lasts 2 months. I like the length too. Just two things to consider before buying: 1. If you are using a case you will need to "modify" (yes I had to physically cut off parts of mine) to make it fit Type C. If the plug were longer, that wouldn't be a problem.2 As for the end on a 120V USB wall charger, the USB only fits one way, and like mine, the cable gets a little in the way when you unplug the cable to bend. This can eventually wear out, time will tell. I thought I researched this well, but I may have missed some information about my issues. Using a computer USB and a different plug or a different cover/no cover may not be a problem, but be aware of the possibilities.
