This charger didn't charge my Samsung Galaxy S3. There were no visible problems when charging. The ends of the USB cable were not finished well, with visible tears at the junction of the two halves. The micro USB connector fits loosely into the phone compared to the original cable that came with the phone. I tested the cable with the charger which works well and charges the phone in just a moment before stopping. I tested the charger with a USB cable that works fine and it didn't charge. Revain's normally simple return process has been modified to require you to call Samsung tech support. The women were helpful, but communication was difficult due to the many other conversations going on in the background. Samsung provided a return label to the SEA DOA Accessory Exchange so I assume they will send me another charger and USB cable instead of a refund. To update. The replacement charger works perfectly. The build quality of the USB cable is good and the micro USB plug fits well into the phone jack. Rating upgrade from one to three stars.
