I read all the reviews before buying this product and despite the comments listing some problems I thought that some people might have a got a bad batch. I guess I was wrong. I will echo the sentiments of other comments: the silicone ends are wobbly and will not stand the test of time. When I took the dishes out of the packaging, there was a STRONG chemical smell coming from the silicone. I soaked them in a mixture of mild soap and vinegar and that seems to have removed most of the odor. Sometimes there can be a problem with stains, but I made spaghetti with it and had no stains. I've only had this cookware for a week so I can't comment on the wear on the wood, but I was also very careful and only washed the silicone while giving the wood a quick rinse. I have not put them in the dishwasher and never will (as advertised). The kit comes with a cheap looking bracket which I will be replacing. In general, for such a price, the product is normal, but I would not recommend it to friends.
