I love this little analytical balance. It can weigh up to 200 grams and reports the weight with an accuracy of 0.01 grams. When weighing a reference weight of around 14 grams by taking it off and reweighing it several times, the displayed weight ranged from just 0.01 to 0.02 grams - quite stable, excellent reproducibility. The tare function is easy to use and works great. The packaging is simple and compact, and with the lid closed, this scale is ready for a safe journey. The scale comes with a 50g weight for calibration. Upon arrival, the weight of 50g by inserting the two included AAA batteries and turning on the device was 50.05g. I followed the protocol to calibrate it, but when I stood in the log I expected it to ask me to add a 50g weight to the bowl, instead it asked me to add a 100g weight. I didn't know what to do with it and wondered if maybe they sent me the wrong pad. But after restarting the scale and restarting the calibration, this time I was prompted to enter a weight of 50g and I was able to complete the calibration. At the end of the short process I weighed the weight again and it now weighed 50.00 grams. All is well. The product is made in China. I received this item for free as a Vine reviewer.
