These grips work very well. You can ride with light gloves and keep your hands warm. Warm hands are everything. The 5 settings are great - you can always find a setting that you are comfortable with. Simple connection - nothing complicated. Use these grips on two different bikes. Fitting the heated grip on the gas side is very difficult. The left handle just slides. You need to cut off the original side throttle grip and once you install the heated throttle grip it stays in place. For the installation, I was hesitant to use a lot of soap or WD-40, thinking that with the onset of summer it might slip a bit. I used some soap and a pipe tie, one end on the front brake reservoir with a block of wood as a pad (or maybe even a c-clip on the handlebars) and the other end on a block of wood evenly pressed against it. Heated outer end handles for slow insertion.
