We have 3 cockatiels that love to stand on them. They also love to chew on them so they last around 6 months. or something, but if it makes her happy, then I'm happy too. They are fairly easy to care for and durable. I love that it's just natural softwood with no finish so we don't have to worry about birds ingesting anything unhealthy. Good product, will continue to buy them. I think it's the smell of natural wood. If you've ever been to Home Depot's lumber department, it smells similar. Birds don't eat the wood they chew off, it just falls to the bottom of the cage. I've ordered them 5 or 6 times so I know they're safe.
